Kobe-Seattle Sister City Association

Kobe-Seattle Sister City Association (KSSCA) is a volunteer-based association that helps promote and facilitate friendly relations between Kobe and our sister city, Seattle.
KSSCA aims to increase the mutual understanding and friendship between the people of both cities, bridge the gap in language and customs, and cultivate exchanges at the grassroots level.

KSSCA’s primary activities are as follows:

1. Newsletter Publication
2. Exchange events in Kobe for association members and guests from Seattle
3. Support for international exchange programs

KSSCA will continue to foster programs and exchanges.

Our two cities will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Kobe-Seattle Sister City relationship in 2007.
KSSCA will also provide support for programs related to this anniversary.

KSSCA is looking for people who have an interest in or connection with Seattle. If you are interested in participating in the KSSCA, please join us!
